OUR FEES

Transparent fees & pricing

Clear guideline charges in line with SRA price transparency — so you know the potential costs from the outset.

Our prices and service charges are largely dependent upon the individual circumstances of a case. In accordance with the SRA guidance on price transparency, we have published a guideline of charges to be as clear as possible about potential costs from the outset.

We have two fee structures at House of Immigration: we either charge by the hour or we charge fixed package prices.

HOW WE CHARGE

Clear pricing that helps you plan with confidence

Choose the structure that fits your matter — with a free initial consultation to get started.

Hourly rates

Hourly charges depend on who carries out the work. A clear guideline of partner and fee-earner rates is published below.

Fixed packages

Most work is charged as fixed package prices based on estimated time — with competitive reductions for straightforward matters.

Free consultation

Your initial 30-minute consultation — with a brief document assessment and basic advice — is free of charge.

We are not VAT registered and therefore VAT is not charged.

What the quotes typically cover

  • Initial assessment of case, perusal of documents, taking of instructions, basic advice and file-opening paperwork
  • A comprehensive list of documentation required — and templates where applicable
  • Preparation of the application and supporting documents; for appeals, compilation of the appeal bundle and drafting of statements where required
  • Submission of applications with detailed covering letters containing representations where appropriate
  • Booking any relevant appointments
  • Advice on the outcome of the application and options available to you

Not included in our fees

Disbursements are not included in the prices above. Disbursements are costs related to your matter that are payable to third parties — such as Home Office fees, interpreter costs, accountants, visa fees, IHS charges, translation costs and counsel fees. Full details will be given when quoting the final figure upon assessing your case.

  • Any Home Office fees for making the application (paid directly to the Home Office)
  • Where the Home Office refuse your application, advice and assistance in relation to any appeal

Factors that can affect cost

05

06

Anticipated hours and fees are estimates based on the facts above. All applications vary — we can give a more accurate estimate once we have more information about your specific case.

TIMELINES

How long will my application take?

We cannot guarantee how long the Home Office will take to process your application. Current processing times can be found on the Home Office website.

We will normally be able to submit all applications within 2 weeks of you instructing us, and will let you know at the earliest opportunity if it is likely to take longer. Delays can occur where there is a delay on your part in providing information, documentation or the full fees required.
